    Angela R Anderson, author, poet

    champion for equality

All I ever want to do is write.  I've known since age 10, when I wrote my first book.  And again at 21 when I shared my work with my first audience, a freshman level Speech class at UofM, (Asian Division) in Seoul Korea.

My service in the Military was the vehicle that allowed me to gain life experiences that I would not have otherwise. These experiences, and the lessons that came with them, were research for my writing.  Lessons for my life, and morals of the story.

My writing, like many authors is largely personal.  It is evident in my poetry, my very first love.

I write about things everyone can relate to, but also about things that are not easy, such as life, and culture.  I offer a glance into current affairs, and social scenes through the elegant use of words.

My love for language and literature will not allow my voice to ever be silenced.
